Focus on: Goran Matic
After studying Computer Science, Physics and Humanities at the York University, Goran realized that our segmented understanding of the world is only partially capable of dealing with problems rooted in complexity. He has recently been admitted to the Strategic Foresight and Innovation (SFI) program at the OCAD University, intended to help expand and further this thesis — at the graduate level of study.
Besides practising Software Systems Architecture at his day job, Goran works at the Center for Social Innovation (CSI) in Toronto, where he and collaborators are evolving next-generation creative / collaborative systems theory, soon to be translated into practical applications.
In his spare time, Goran reads, plays guitar, paints, and practices Systema — an integrative movement-based art designed to release tension from the body, and achieve optimal levels of health through establishing flexible body structures via movement, relaxation and breathing.
Goran Matic has presented:
- Breath(e): Breathing for Creativity (2012)
