Michael Jones is a Juno nominated pianist, composer as well a speaker, writer, leadership educator and creative facilitator.
He is the author of three books: Creating an Imaginative Life (1995, 2006), Artful Leadership, Awakening the Commons of the Imagination (2006) and The Soul of Place, Transforming Leadership Through Nature, Art and Community.
Michael has been a Senior Associate with the MIT Dialogue Project and the James MacGregor Burns Academy of Leadership, a consultant with the Fetzer Institute Leadership for Transformation Dialogues, leadership faculty with the Banff Centre and a Charter Consulting Member with the Society of Organizational Learning.
As a pianist/composer Michael was the founding artist of Narada Records where his many recordings of original piano compositions including Pianoscapes, Touch and After the Rain have served as benchmarks for the popular genre of contemporary instrumental music.
He has presented and performed widely in the US and Canada as well as in Korea, Japan and Europe.
Michael holds a BA in Music and Psychology from Mount Allison University in Sackville NB and an MA in Adult Learning from the University of Toronto. He lives with his partner Judy, an educator, healer and fine artist, in Orillia, Ontario.
